About Gregg
Gregg moved to Central New York from the Hudson Valley in 2007 for the same reasons we all choose to live here: outstanding quality of life, the chance to pursue a great education, and a strong and engaged community.
Gregg's life has been shaped by a desire to serve his community. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, Gregg's mom Chris is a retired public school teacher and his dad Peter is a retired attorney who worked on behalf of injury victims, children, and those without means to pay. They taught Gregg that a society is best measured by how it lifts its people up.
Gregg began working in government in high school, interning in the district offices of a New York State Assemblyman and two Members of Congress. Connecting constituents to government resources gave Gregg an appreciation of the ways that effective government can improve the day-to-day lives of regular people.
After graduating from Syracuse Law, Gregg met his wife Meryl and moved to Skaneateles, where they live with their three children. Gregg is a litigator who is accustomed to fighting in court for his clients. Gregg was elected twice to the Skaneateles Village Board, serving from 2016 to 2023.

Why I'm Running
Central New Yorkers are facing a growing affordability crisis—and County Republicans aren’t offering solutions. Too many of our neighbors are being priced out of stable, suitable housing. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are under threat, and more and more working families are struggling just to get by.Instead of using your tax dollars to ease these burdens, Republican leadership wasted millions on a luxury aquarium that few asked for and many oppose. I’m running to fight for real solutions—policies that make life more affordable, and investments in the services that truly matter to working families.
